A little about myself...
Johan Van den Brande is an electronic engineer (MsC) who thought it would be better to pursue a career in software instead of hardware. Working for a big player in the storage industry, Johan finds a daily challenge in enhancing one of the company's products.
Next to his career he tries to be a beloving husband and a good father to two children. He lives in a small village in Belgium, Tongerlo, which has its own
abbey, an abundancy of social life (look
here,
here,
here, and
here) and its own local
beer.
According to a recent neologism Johan belongs to a new kind of enterpreneural movement, named the MicroISV, selling home-made software products for the beloved PalmOS powered PDAs.
In his copious spare time he finds satisfaction in thinkering, toying, fiddling and experimenting with both emerging and heirloom technologies. Oh, and did he mention he loves to write in the third person about himself?
